Here, we are highlighting an investment of Singapore-based single family office Amaya Ventures. The Mumbai-based fintech LXME works on a fintech platform tailored for women. Now, it raised a $1.2M seed round from various investors, amongst them the office LXME’s platform offers products tailored to women, such as funds, prepaid shopping cards, loans and financial education offers. The Indian fintech community already reaches more than 400,000 women. The recent seed funding round was led by Kalaari Capital. Other investors include Yash Kela, Capri Holdings, Adiko Holding and Aditi Kothari.Spotlight on the Amaya Ventures family officeThe Amaya Ventures family office is mainly focused on startup investments. Investments include Leverage Edu, Carpl.ai and One Mobiwik Systems. While the recent LXME investment was conducted at seed stage, the family office also pursues pre-IPO deals and private equity investments.The latest angel investment of the family office from Singapore dates back to 2011.
