New York-based startup – which is offering a smart-contract programming language – recently raised a $35M Series C funding round. Amongst the investors is the (also New York-based) single family office of former Blackstone executive Tony James.Synchronizing business processes through blockchain solutionsDigital Asset’s main product is DAML: a programming language for multi-party transactions. Thereby, companies are enabled to “streamline operations and make value transfer efficient and secure”. The company was founded by Yuval Rooz (formerly roles at DRW Trading Group and Citadel), Shaul Kfir (software engineer from Tel Aviv who also was a visiting scientist at MIT) and Eric Saraniecki (experience in bitcoin trading, former role at DRW Trading).
